Last weekend Sydney and I did Relay for Life. Which is an event to raise money for any type of cancer. This is Sydney & her friend Maddie whom had cancer. Sydney is on the Student Council with Shepherd Jr. High and they created a team to participate. Not sure the total of how much they ended up raising
, but they did an great job and had tons of fun doing it. It's an all day and night event. So Sydney was there setting up at 11 am on Sat. the event started at 1pm at Red Mt. High School football field and stayed until Sunday the next morning. You have to have someone from your team at all times on the track walking or running. Syd's times were 5pm and 5 am. 
Needless to say it's taken me a week to recover I think that's why it took me so long to post this. It was fun and all for a good cause.
