Every year my kids expect to make a gingerbread house. After I get the house together I let the kids go for it. So it's not prefect but they are proud of it. We did a cool trick this year that my sister in law taught me. ( Thanks JoLynn) You take jolly ranchers and melt them in the windows and you have a stained glass window. Put a candle in it and light it up. In the pic it's hard to tell but it's cool.

Oh that looks like so much fun. I wanted to do that last weekend with the girls but new it would be a very big mess!!!!!
